I am a former gymnast, runner, and soccer player (not all at the same time). Trying to get back into shape after an injury can be tough. I am not trying to lose weight. In fact, I am not looking at a scale at all. I'm just trying to get toned and in shape and lose body fat. I'm using a measuring tape to record how much fat I lose instead of a scale. This is my journal so I can track my progress and keep motivated! |

I have completely been slacking off…. and I’m going to the beach tomorrow…. great. Sooooo not confident!!!!! I need to get back on track but I have no motivation whatsoever..
Stating your goal(s) out loud is much more effective than thinking it in your head!

omg I wish I could have met this girl…this is just so sad, my heart sank watching it. I finally motivated myself to go workout! I did a workout from this app I have called Dancer Workout or something like that… It was run 3 miles, do four sets of 50 situps and four sets of 15 pushups. It was a short, simple workout but seeing as I haven’t worked out in almost a month, it seemed like a good way to ease into it again. :) now it’s time for frozen mango!!! WOOOOOO!!!
I need to get back on track but I have nooooo motivation to work out :/
Ate like crap aaaaall day yesterday but instead of being pissed about it all night I just drank tons of water and tea to flush out everything and I just finished a swim workout and resistance workouts in the pool at my new apartment complex :))) I love it! I’m so happy it’s summer vacation :) Now it’s time for a very early lunch of brown rice, two egg whites, and barbecued paneer cheese and veggies :)
Tonight I am having a protein smooooothie (pineapple chunks, three strawberries, one banana, orange juice, one scoop of raspberry greek frozen yogurt, scoop of whey protein powder) and butternut squash ravioli with olive oil and parmesan cheese :)) I had one egg and two egg whites before just so I don’t feel like I need to eat aaaaall of this pasta! :) I am going to start trying to be on tumblr more and start journaling on here again :) I MISS EVERYONE HERE!
